Is peak fall off/washed when you need to make a sequel of your best or most critically acclaimed album? For example Big Sean’s upcoming Detroit 2

That’s prime wayne. I’m talking about using it more like a gimmick because you need to pull in fans. Peak washed
MMLP 2 was asscheeks
Nope .. compared to the first one its obviously not close but as a standalone album its really solid and proably his best since TES..
it had everything tbh .. even critics liked it which is rare for Eminem since all his albums had average reviews upon release and got re reviewed later with better grades like his first 3 .. and fans loved it too

There’s been a lot of speculation around that album. Big Sean started a rollout and deaded it. The best thing Joe Budden has to say about it was he liked a certain beat. Sean also had a white board with names of basically every relevant rapper as potential features.

man it was garbage, I liked it when I was 13 and didn't know s*** about rap music. I listened to it again recently and It was so bad, production and hooks are so trash. Only songs that are okay are the song that samples The Zombies and Evil Twin, everything else is bad pop rap music. Encore and Relapse s*** on this album.
