I use ally for checking but online banks are WOAT when you have a problem.

Either get a credit union that refunds ATM withdraws or Chase.

For savings I use Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Best rates in the industry and is easy to use.

Was gonna say Marcus, it’s great for savings.

I use chase for the rest of my banking and my IRA (they’ve got a great automatic investment setup) and then I have some money invested that I’m hands on with through Robinhood.

Does Marcus have a referral bonus?

Not currently. If you have a job that has direct deposit you can go from one bank to another collecting their joining rewards that usually give you $100-300 for joining. You can easily rack up $1500 by just switching banks every 3 months
