Word? this makes sense.
Yea Dilla could play a dope ass Moog bassline but when you hear those buttery Rhodes that’s either James or a sample. James is a coproducer on The Questions and I knew that somewhere in my head so that’s why it came to mind. He played those keys for sure. He didn’t produce on Nag Champa or Thelonious though so unless he was just credited as a keyboardist (don’t see that on Wiki) those keys were probably samples. Dilla ain’t play keys like that
