Looking to spend a little money on a new controller for the new xbox since the controller it came with sucks imo. Looking at brands such as Scuf, Razer, etc. What brand should i look to get and why?

    Dumb take.

The elite series 1 is probably the best choice for a paddle controller. The series 2 has a lot of defects unless they fixed everything. If they did then that’s the best choice

Not a dumb take tbh. A 180$ “elite” controller is not at all that much better lmfao. Not worth the money at all

Have you used one? There’s a pretty obvious difference between a regular controller and one with paddles lol

I’ve owned a v1 of the elite controller and sold it after months of use. In my opinion not worth the investment at all.

If you game on PlayStation just grab the paddle attachment and call it a day.

Xbox just deal with the controller cause it’s fine and third party elite controllers also are trash

I have both v1 and v2 of the elites

v2 one of the best controllers ever tbh. dont have any problems with it. Scufs feel way too cheap for me

Your buttons all work on the 2? My B button needs to be hard pressed and the controller doesn’t seem very durable

Elite v2 would be godly if they weren't generally defective out the box or had problems within the first month, So Warranty is a necessity.

If you're going to get a Razer controller best to get the XB1 Wolverine Tournament edition rather then the Ultimate because it's more durable and cheaper.

PowerA has the cheapest "Elite" option with the Fusion pro that has Paddles, trigger stops and multiple thumbsticks like the Elite but it does have reliability issues that come with the low price.
