Kendrick, Cole, Jay-Z, Drake, Nas, Kanye and Wayne are "bs"? Throw in some Tyler, Future, Thug, maybe Carti and you basically get your typical KTT user list.

Some ''recent'' (meaning, last decade) albums that i feel get overshadowed in these types of lists by even bigger artists/releases but deserve to be mentioned as AOTY material:

• Control System by Ab-Soul (2012)

• Cadillactica by Big KRIT (2014) still dk why this one so underrated

• The Documentary 2.5 by Game (2015)

• Passion Pain & Demon Slayin by Cudi (2016)

• Blank Face LP by ScHoolboy Q (2016)

• Nxworries - Yes Lawd! (2016)

• HNDRXX by Future (2017) maybe this one is rated right but still needs to be talked more bc it's like a few huge steps above all his other projects imo

• Drogas WAVE by Lupe (2018) honestly this his magnum opus

• Some Rap Songs by Earl (2018)

Not the wildest names but these are among my favs of that decade and feel like even though they're generally liked, they should be mentioned a lot more in the grand scheme of the genre and not just when talking about their respective discogs

I like most of those albums if not all, but some of them are very niche. I can easily see how not everyone is gonna be able to enjoy them

Recovery in 2010 and Views in 2016 are insane to me. If you’re talking commercial impact sure, but they’re both borderline bad albums
