What are some of your personal fave instrumental tracks on albums that otherwise use vocals? Could be interludes or more fully-fledged tracks, any genre welcome
I've always loved how Bowie made the bold move of opening Low with Speed of Life, an instrumental that showcases the weird experimental production you'd be hearing on the rest of the album
(altho this kinda has some vocals)
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=852QrdBbo5Qgood pick. whole album flames
one of my fav albums oat
Ditto. Reminds me of a simpler and innocent time.
S***, even if we separate nostalgic and sentimental value, you'd be left with banger after banger. Privilege, Nowhere Fast, I Miss You, etc.
While Johnny Rotten is a good vocalist with PIL. It does sound great when the band just grooves out

It does. That's their masterpiece and luckily the album that introduced the world to Incubus. I couldn't agree more. If I ever recommend them to anyone I'd flat out tell them to skip Fungus because it's just a mess of a record and the sound of a identity crisis. 1997 - 2004 the golden period.
