my ceiling light went out and i've been in the dark for 2 months...

the bowl/dome that has to be removed won't budge and i've given up. already have tried different methods but it just wont twist..

Did you look to see if it has screws on the side of the dome? I don't think the entire dome unscrews.

Probably got pegs that hold it in that you unscrew to allow it to drop out of place.

grab a flathead screw driver or go to amazon and purchase "car trim removers" use either one of these devices to aid in removing your bowl.
