Title says it all.
Starting out with the most undeniable and legendary main menu, gotta put Black Ops 1. Fit the tone of the game insanely well. The dude up in the window occasionally asking questions f***ing with you Getting up and putting in random codes into the terminal computer the whole flip from zombies and the iconic piano playing with the tvs playing crazy s*** on em
Nier Automata's main menu after you either visit kaine's cabin or get a certain ending i dont remember0 is so beautiful man. Especially if you played the game before automata and got the story/history of it down. The piano in this one also sounds so desperate and feels like it's lost hope. Goated game and goated menu
Halo just iconic. Hate the game but damn that atmosphere crazy at the main menu.
Throwing this all here together but the Evil Withins various loading screens that got progessively creepier as the game loaded is so f***ing cool bro.
Also the various dbz games that had you doing dumb s*** on the loading screens like vegeta doing pushups or goku eating ramen and s*** was so amusing
Randomly just thought about this with how loading screens are basically disappearing as gaming gets more advanced and I haven't seen a recent game thats made me immersed in the main menu besides maybe TLOU
the namco ones w the games in em like galaga for tekken
Black Ops 1 main menu goated
Starting up the game for the first time and being in a electric chair was wild
the Xenoblade Chronicles 1 Definitive Edition main menu version you get after finishing the main story
Nobody bringing up how you could break out of the chair in Black Ops 1 and play Zork
Anyway, DBZ Budokai and Tenkaichi deserve a mention for their loading screen minigames imo (Nvm, I see OP already mentioned this )
Also that God Of War 2018 title screen to gameplay transition was clean af
Getting home from school and seeing that Halo Reach menu
Pikmin 4 with how the intro is just a forest with the mins running around then after about halfway through the game the main menu becomes a house setting with the og forest start screen now on the living room tv & the mins are eating cookies n s*** just watching n vibing on the coffee table infront of it inside their own matrix dystopia ready to play themselves
Deserves to be posted including the music
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE5oaOOwInECame ITT to post this one
WoW up until including WotLK had the greatest loading screens ever IMO
Out of more modern games, Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Witcher 3 def stand out to me with either music (RDR2 - prob the best loading screen music anywhere IMO) or atmosphere and animation (The Witcher 3)
