I got the Dell S2721DGF for $366 and pretty happy with it so far. Check out slickdeals throughout the fall. They post some decent gaming monitor sales.

What's good king. Hard to recommend anything unless you give some parameters like

Screen size range you're looking for (helps determine what resolution you need)

You playing competitive MPs? Single player? Both? (Important when looking at panel types and refresh rates)

Do you definitely want HDR? Also, will you be using this with a PC as well?

OP asks for new monitor and you posting a fluff piece about what's basically a $2300 mid tier TV.

@op you can go with OLED but if you want one that can do high res at high refresh rates you gonna have to drop a bag on it.

Send me a link to what would be solid. My budgets like 500$

Screen size doesn't matter much, anything around 25" is solid. It'll be for a mix of games I'm not super competitive but I play COD and a lot of single player games. HDR is a must and 4K. I want to make the most out of these next gen consoles.

Lmao I mean I gave him 2 choices... Without knowing the limit he had on the price. But yeah nevermind then lol... I might have to search for something else

sounds like you want something like the BenQ the first person mentioned

a $500 LG or Samsung monitor would be comparable

the 4k screens with more HDR nits than 400 and deeper blacks are $650+

also 4k 27-28 inch screens are usually better deals than 24-25 inches, so I'd definitely look for something slightly larger

not a bad monitor gets plenty bright and has good response rate but it’s a TN panel so it can’t show the full 8 bit color + FRC needed for HDR

Should wait till HDMI 2.1 becomes the standard

this a very fast enough response rate also and good brightness but it has twice the colors and can properly display HDR
