Was replaying Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and loved how dope this boss fight was. Just a straight up sword fight between you and Jetstream Sam.
What I usually do when I fight dude is take off my sub-weapon so it's just katana vs katana.
At that point you're relying on timing and reflexes.
The music, the stage, the aura and camerawork all makes this the best boss fight in that entire game for me.
What's yall favorite boss battles where it's just you and the opponent one on one? No henchmen or whatever
You got me thinking of Metal Gear so I’ll say The End from MGS3, such a good fight. The Boss was clunky as hell but just as memorable as well. When Snake Eater starts playing

The End was so stressful bruh lmao boss fight had me paranoid as s***
Call me a b**** if you want to, but I cry every single time I fight Roxas. Even his theme chokes me up

Final fight against Vergil in DMC3
yoooo this reminds me of when you fight him in DMC5 as Nero, grabbing him and DDT'ing him as a counter

Still remember the last boss of dark souls 1. Bro with the flaming sword
Spent all game fighting doofy ass monsters it was so lit fighting someone around your size just going crazy
Ganondorf/Ganon from Ocarina of Time. The fight. Idk what it is about it, but it was epic

Slightly off topic, but metal gear is my favorite series in gaming so needless to say I was very excited when this game got announced after mgs 4, especially after seeing this trailer
But then I heard and saw that the game changed its story and gameplay and developer from this trailer to what the game is now. So i never played it because it looked disappointing. I thought it was a going to be a straight Kojima game in the vein of some mgs4 type s*** in terms of story and epicness and all that, not too mention how amazing this gameplay looked. Thought it would be what Raiden was doing in between mgs2 and mgs 4.
Having said that I always wondered if the game turned out pretty good anyway. I mean it looks decent dont get me wrong it definitely looks fun. Just not quite what that initial trailer passed off. I wonder if I may try it one day.
Fave boss though anyway is probably Raven from mgs. Though I would probably say Liquid tomorrow if I answered it again. And the next day Sniper Wolf lol. Too many great fights in the mgs series.

Ngl I still haven’t played DMC4 or 5, I’m buying when I find some time to play.
They both worth it?

They really are. I suggest playing DMC4 to get used to Nero’s style cuz he’s in a lot of DMC5 but it’s worth it just for the boss fights alone in DMC5
Lady Maria from Bloodborne, such a crazy fight
Never played bloodborne, them souls type games look so cool but their enemies be big as hell lmao and sometimes it annoys me lmao I had fun with Sekiro for a minute tho
