Worst: My best friends moved and I only have a group of like 5 friends left, and 2 of them started dating last week so the entire friend group collapsed overnight and I cant hang out with anyone anymore

Shipbuilding, the most common injury is from falls. Lots of stuff to trip over, falling their is dangerous because EVERYTHING is steel.

Also everything around, no matter what it is will f*** you up if you fall, jutting metal, pipes, giant studs etc.

The job itself is extremely hazardous, I'm a marine coatings specialist (painter). Paint dust, rust dust and airborne metal filaments will ruin your lungs. So will chemical fumes, power tools will ruin your hearing and hands from vibrations.

However compared to other shipyards it is one of if not the safest in the U.S.

best part: money is no issue, blessed to live in a decent country. i could have everything i need in a materialistic sense.
