Here are my top 6. I stopped at 6 because I felt these were the 6 that deserved to be on the list. Adele might not be a popular pick with this demo but I couldn't leave that album off the list. Also for the record I'm not a huge pop aficionado, I mainly only listen to the major releases that get a lot of buzz as you can see from my choices. The top 5 honestly could be in any order and my placement of them will change with time, but this the order i'm feeling at the moment.

I'll post some thoughts on each of these albums when I get a chance but here it is. It was a good decade for pop IMO with some serious progression in musical style from the 2000s. These kinda albums now pull their production from all different styles of music and it feels much richer musically.

I debated a lot with myself about Lover vs Red vs 1989, and considered all 3 for my list.

Time may change my opinion but Lover is my favorite of the 3. Red is fantastic but probably a little too country for my preference, and I think Lover did something similar sounding to 1989 but did it better.
