@Elric also realized the debut of the goat salsa singer Hector Lavoe was in '67. this is from '68. confused me at first because he didnt get the top billing yet, Willie Colon (trombonist and bandleader) did until they started sharing it. doesnt seem to be a showstopper singer yet but still fire

also peep Colon (only 18 years old at the time) doing the gangster aesthetic before it became cool

yeah ive never rated individual tracks like a psycho but as far as play counts goes

really helpful when trying to go back and remember what songs i liked best from albums where the titles dont help like jazz albums or non-english ones or grateful dead jam highlights/lowlights
also I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks Beck-Ola is basically as good as Truth. Rice Pudding riff is massive
