Jerry Lee's career was a write off by this point but im still addicted to his flow on this one

•Roy snapped threw Runaway between Crying and Running Scared for aesthetic purposes but really they were a tie for #1. Nobody touched him.

•Del Shannon rookie of the year, really precipitated the mid 60s garage band obsession with gnarly keyboards

•Ben E King dominated the r&b/soul lane for yet another year, and The Drifters proved they were gonna carry on fine without him anyway

•Patsy finally found her cosmopolitan country sound and changed the genre

•Fats and Chuck proved for another year they were the most consistent of the first wave of 50s rockers.. some other highlights but otherwise it was a pretty scant year for real rock bangers compared to 55'-'58
