I was literally pouring over pictures of him and George Harrison last night and reading a bunch of quotes about how influential the Band was on everybody from George to Elton John this year. Is Garth still alive or was Robbie the last member?

Some good lyrics but I did not dig the sound of this album
heard any of these?
Uriah Heep debut
Magma debut
Tim Maia 1970 s/t
Van de Graaf Generator - H to He Who Am the Only One
Little Richard - The Rill Thing
Paul Kantner - Blows Against the Empire
Emitt Rhodes s/t
Ahmad Jamal - The Awakening
Freddie Hubbard - Red Clay
Alice Coltrane - Ptah, the El Daoud
That Paul Kantner
impressed the band set aside enough time for him to pull off some top tier sounding Airplane

@twinkletoez @RASIE @HeyFella you guys should hear this

and compare it to that undercooked mid studio version on their 1967 debut
shows their ability to grow and transform rootsy songs over a period of years. making the true art form the living performance collected over hundreds of renditions
