    idk the genre bending they were doing on things like Livin The Life, Silent Boatman, Moonshine Heather ridiculous. Jews harp, banjo, bagpipes... nothing was off the table and the arrangements were borderline prog on top of the wild instrumentation.

    grew up to Moondance so Van is the comfort zone to the same degree as Neil really. the fact that we landed on the year of Moondance when I went to Ireland was had him on repeat over there

    Strangers dark horses Dave Davies and also George Harrison really blossomed into master songwriters on their own this year (although Ray still produced Stangers). Harrison and Clinton were low-key the MVPs of the year with Neil being the high key one.

    Yeah I just tack live version onto whatever album it was recorded closest to usually. Your Caravan rec ranked ridiculously high too kept thinking nah thats too high then replaying it and accepting its goat status lol. also your T2 rec
