"One time Buddy came into my dressing room while I was jacking off with my girlfriend Angel sucking my titty. Angel had the fastest tongue in the west. She was doing that to me and Buddy took out his thing. She opened up her legs and he put it in her. He was having s***with Angel, I was jacking off, and Angel was sucking me when they introduced his name on stage. He finished and went to the stage still fastening himself up. I'll never forget that. He came and he went."
-- Little Richard

fawk... been meaning to check out the Apu Trilogy for like 8 years now.
Shankar has a great album he made with Harrison in the 90s.
Also his Live album from the Kremlin is pretty legendary
very pure music
this is about as right as i can make it feel
'57 definitely gonna be the strongest year of the 50s because it was the last year you had everybody from the first wave (elvis, chuck, bo, richard, fats) still firing on all cylinders while the second wave (Buddy, Everlys, Jerry, Ricky) came in hot with a bunch of classics. Also great year for soul with Ray and Sam releasing pivotal jams.
57:
Buddy Holly - Peggy Sue
Little Richard - Keep a Knockin
Little Richard - Lucille
Muddy Waters - Got My Mojo Workin
Dale Hawkins - Susie Q
Chuck Berry - School Days

Eddie Cochran - Twenty Flight Rock
The Johnny Burnette Trio - The Train Kept A-Rollin
