i also been underrating the first few Yardbirds singles with Clapton dont know why i pretended they didnt exist until now. I Wish You Would pretty effectively captures the frenzy of their live rave ups and his solos on A Certain Girl and Good Morning Little Schoolgirl are definitely way beyond any other brit that year.
