Whats the best in terms of audio quality? I read a lot of sites and the most said Qobuz or Tidal. But Apple Music seem to have Hi res sound but a lil less good then the other two?
What yall recommend?
With bluetooth headphones, Hi-Res doesn't matter, you won't be able to tell a difference. With nice wired headphones, you may be able to tell a difference. That being said, Apple Music Lossless is fantastic. Tidal's MQA is snake oil, even though I'm sure their hi-res plan sounds good. I've heard good things about Qobuz but its one of the only ones I've never personally tried. The only ones I won't touch are Youtube and Spotify You should be good with any of the other options, but I'd honestly just go with Apple Music and turn lossless on
Qobuz is dope they have a lot of 24 bit stuff i think its about the same as Tidal but i do think Tidal does have a bit more than Qobuz.

Yeah i had a trial month on both of em and qobuz doesn’t have the catalog of tidal or Spotify. They quality is really good but i dont know if tidal or apple has the same hi res sound then i rather take them i dunno

Yeah i have apple music atm. Dolby sounds good on airpods. Gor the hi res lossless tracks i have a DAC and wired headphones. It sounds good but i dont know if it is as good as tidal or qobuz
it’s definitely qobuz but my problem is how it handles artists w the same name, often combining them

apple is cd quality at best for the most part iirc, some stuff i saw w regular lossless have higher res music on the other platforms, even though they have hi res lossless too. the ecosystem is just super strong already

basically what im saying: apple’s lossless library is smaller than the others, so i account to it not being as good

Tidal has the same problem with gunna. I start a radio for gunna and tidal plays the homeless gunna smh

I listen to a pretty wide variety of music and I’ve rarely if ever come across a song or album that wasn’t available in lossless. Maybe I’m just lucky tho.

So tidal would be slightly better because it has a bigger hi res catalog?
That Spotify comment you made the other day makes sense now

thing is you gotta pay extra for the max quality where it included w the basic qobuz plan which is 9 dollars less so i wouldn’t rly say its better unless you got the money for it

one example is rumors by fleetwood mac, its lossless on apple but not hi res lossless, qobuz has hi res files on their platform

Aight bet so tidal would be the best choice then. Imma test out AM since i still have the trial month and test tidal again on the same time maybe i can give an update on the service later on.
Thanks for the help bro

yea definitely trial them out before sticking with em. if you do trial tidal again you can add an extra month for 2 dollars i believe

If you can still hear above 18khz you need to listen to more music!
