Kanye West - The College Dropout -> Graduation
Jeezy - Thug Motivation 101 -> TM:103
BADBADNOTGOOD - BBNG -> III
The Weeknd - House of Ballons -> Echoes of Silence
Mach Hommy x Tha God Fahim - Dollar Menu -> Dollar Menu 3
Dollar Menu series is so good. My personal favorite Mach projects
Thats good for Weeknd, but none of Trilogy touching any of those dropout albums

No rules ITT. If you wanna call D’Angelo discog a trilogy go for it
Gonna be listening to this until I’m dead
Edit: Gunna be listening until I’m dead
it’s a series now since there’s 4
C1&2 are arguably a duo, which makes the rest of Tha Carters a trilogy
so that

I was thinking this, at first I didn’t post it bc I was thinking strictly contained trilogy but now I’m thinking any cohesive 3peat
A right f*** it
I’m counting this as a trilogy
Peak Avant Garde/minimalist/experimental era Ye
(And all had red in the cover )

These 3 albums are all totally different can’t consider them an era lmao

It was him at peak experimentation
High emotion. High art. High fashion.
I think this could totally count as an era
The music sounded different but comparing this to the albums outside of this era it makes sense.
Of course the 3 albums before it are an trilogy. But there was a major shift after Graduation.
And the album after Yeezus felt like a mixture of all Ye’s sounds so it gets left out of the peak experiment era imo

i see these as a trilogy as well. sometimes include TLOP too, but these three always feel like a group.

my exact thoughts. TLOP is like a close-out album to this era, which is why i said in my previous post i sometimes include it but not always.
