Carter……..
1
Anybody who knows anything regarding spittin, rawness, energy and replay value knows this was Wayne at his absolute best from front to back.
This is a no skip album with nothing but classic verses to speak of.
This is not a debate thread.. this is an educational one.
If you disagree I invite you to revisit this timeless classic on this great Sunday or visit another form of entertainment expeditiously.
You typed 1 instead of 2. But I know it was a genuine mistake
common misnomer but I understand. Just learn from this.
C1 is great but its kinda redundant and production is lazy sometimes
Wayne had the hunger there but didnt have the confidence and creativity he had in his next 2 carters

I think you may need to visit another form of entertainment expeditiously
Carter 2 >>>
But Carter 1 is underrated. Mannie's presence was felt more on that album whereas C2 had more Dipset/NY influence.
Tha Carter 2 is obviously Wayne's best album.
But Tha Carter is still really good though. Wayne was rapping his ass off on that b****.
No
That’s why I don’t like Wayne fans they don’t even appreciate his best efforts but will hype up C4 or INAHB

Wayne got fans from several generations those kinds of opinions are bound to be present
I see just as many Hot Boy era fans as the Trukfit fans
Carter 4
A lot of people don’t remember that Cash Money came close to falling off before C1 dropped. 500 Degreez was a flop and the Big Tymers weren’t having the same pull commercially. I think that random ass Mack 10 album dropped around that time too.
Wayne came back hungry with a new style and the rest was history
