    Copped this 2 years ago and its still doing me good. Waterproof, lots of pockets, cozy as f***

    Might have to break it out soon where im at as a matter of fact

    Damn this actually been on my mind heavy cause I'm going to be out more than usual in Boston this winter and I need better cold weather stuff (gloves/mittens, thermals and a jacket esp)

    Was just looking at the down jackets from the new jil uniqlo stuff and thread got me thinking that wouldn't be a bad look

    the jil down parka looks dope, might cop in that brownish color

    Its lightweigt, not too puffy you can layer a sweater under it no problem

  • I got a gap peacoat from goodwill last year that's basically brand new and its great

    I inherited my g grandfather's grey zip up coat and it's cool

    Then I have a black carhatt coat, the basic one but not brown

    In my rotation this winter

    How bad are the winters in boston?

    Not bad at all but I'm often on 10+ mile walks and even though it doesn't even get below 0 (F) too often it gets windy and the short end of a walk like that is 3.5 hours.

    Also looking for a place where I can get a lot of thermals, doesn't have to be anything special price is most important on this one - would like multiple colors if possible tho

  • basic but patagonia stuff super warm and looks nice. Got some hoodies, fleece sweaters, flannel jacket

    Grid fleeces are really nice for a thermal, definitely worth the money, super versatile. You can find used R1s pretty cheap too

    Yeah wind chill is often times the worst part esp when crossing the Charles but you might already be more than prepared for all of that
