Have the same one, pretty underrated tbh
I got a black Uniqlo puffer from Korea like 8-9 years ago and still wear it every winter
Damn this actually been on my mind heavy cause I'm going to be out more than usual in Boston this winter and I need better cold weather stuff (gloves/mittens, thermals and a jacket esp)
Was just looking at the down jackets from the new jil uniqlo stuff and thread got me thinking that wouldn't be a bad look

Its lightweigt, not too puffy you can layer a sweater under it no problem

Then I have a black carhatt coat, the basic one but not brown
In my rotation this winter

Not bad at all but I'm often on 10+ mile walks and even though it doesn't even get below 0 (F) too often it gets windy and the short end of a walk like that is 3.5 hours.
Also looking for a place where I can get a lot of thermals, doesn't have to be anything special price is most important on this one - would like multiple colors if possible tho
basic but patagonia stuff super warm and looks nice. Got some hoodies, fleece sweaters, flannel jacket

Gotcha, moving there next year for school so just wanted to know what to expect
Grid fleeces are really nice for a thermal, definitely worth the money, super versatile. You can find used R1s pretty cheap too

Yeah wind chill is often times the worst part esp when crossing the Charles but you might already be more than prepared for all of that
