worst is probably somewhere like arkansas, mississippi, etc.
best? i dont really f*** with huge urban areas. arizona seems to be really popular as of late. taxes aren't too bad from what i heard, and its warm weather and cost of living attracts a lot of people
i was about to say Arizona is probably high up there. It’s just so.. so hot.
Florida is the worst

yeah the dry hot weather would really f*** with me after a while. but i keep seeing so many retired people move there.
id prod rather live in vegas if i had a choice between being in nevada or arizona
Heard Hawaii is dog s*** to live in
I've only ever heard this from people not born in Hawaii.
I've only ever heard this from people not born in Hawaii.
Most people love their home place of birth no matter what tho

I’m sure. But being from there is way different than wanting to move
hard to say since I've only spent significant time in like 2 states lol
guessing most people have similar experiences
but for me it's Minnesota
I’m sure. But being from there is way different than wanting to move
That's fair, perhaps it's easier to be acclimated to having a limited amount of space (say a 50 mile radius, as OP mentioned) on a island when you're born there, as compared to moving from a city.
I don't really think this makes Hawaii "shitty to live in", though.
Real.
When i get my money really up i want to move to either Oregon, Colorado, Washington or back to California, but the "good" but also "expensive af" side lol.
Lived in 4 states n currently in Arizona, which i would say is a middleground state. Not best or worst if you live around or in the Phoenix, Oro Valley or Tucson areas, but i f***ing hate the heat out here during summer which is the real bummer, at least its affordable af tho with some cool famous sights & decent night life.
Yeah that’s the biggest con to being in the West. It’s the same deal here it’s affordable and there’s s*** to do but the only seasons are summer and “Winter but instead of being cold it’s 60°”
I guess we can’t have everything there’s always gonna be tradeoffs
Some of yall really moved to Texas because a bald white kung fu comedian told you to
You really think millions of people are moving to Texas because of Joe Rogan? Really?
I've only ever heard this from people not born in Hawaii.
Everyone that’s born and raised in Hawaii also says it’s garbage. They all hate it here. Only tourists say that it’s a good place to live because they don’t actually live there.

True & agreed.
Nothings perfect, everything has its ups n downs to it but its up to u personally which one is more worth it.

I don't know what island you live on, but I have never heard this from a single native I've spoken to. Could vary island-to-island.

No no no I’m just talking about the regular people that live here not the natives. This is the natives’ land and they love it here. I mean it’s their homeland they would love it no matter what. The regular people that are not natives hate it here.
Also I’m on Oahu.

Ah, that's fair. The only Hawaii'an people I know are natives, so my opinion is certainly skewed. I get what you mean now.
Best: Texas (Basically no gun laws, cheap land, big black population, low taxes)
Worst: California (Too expensive, huge homeless population, gentrification, restrictive gun laws)
Idgaf if this thread already exists I’m doing it again.
The black population % also isn't even too high lol, pretty much in the middle
sounds like you just like Texas because it's cheap lol

Simi Valley Everyone I know that lives in Simi Valley wishes they could move out of there
It’s a conservative and mostly white place but in terms of cleanliness and homeless it’s great

The black population is mostly in the big cities, which is how it is in most of the country.
Dallas is about 25% black and Houston is also about 25% black. Idk about Dallas but property in Houston is also relatively cheap because of how gigantic it is.
Idk why people refuse to like Texas lol it’s a great place. The patriotism probably turns a lot of people off but I’m also very patriotic so that’s probably part of why I like it so much.

Nah I'm not knocking Texas, don't get me wrong it seems cool. Those prices will go up as time goes on so it's good you got over there early lol.
You can avoid that aspect in Austin from what I've heard, it's definitely a good place to move no doubt.
I like the freedom aspect but for a place with a heavy emphasis on freedom they certainly like to hamper it at the same time.
Not a fan of how they approach weed for one
Every state has its flaws, just how it goes
Best state: New York (grew up there and miss it also the Knicks)
Worst state: Florida (alligators, spiders, roaches, and old white people talk about hell on earth)
