I mean it makes sense. America is the third biggest country, it’s relatively safe, it’s rich as f***, and it’s f***ing huge. I would probably come here too.

San Francisco is not nicer than Southern California. San Francisco is worse. And any other part of northern Cali outside of the big cities is basically farm country.

sf has been in the dumps for a while but there are a lot of nice little pockets in norcal that arent farm country. sacramento area is really nice, further south stanislaus county is nice too. yes p much anywhere between bakersfield and fresno is just farms, but above fresno its pretty civilized

i will say as a californian that this is dead last the WORST place to be into cars next to NY, so many damn laws and parts that cant even ship to here. texas got us beat there

That’s it’s biggest problem. It has so many f***ing laws. It’s just like Hawaii it’s so f***ing frustrating. There’s a law about everything here it makes me wish I was back in Nevada where I actually felt like a f***ing American living in a free country.

Worst: Texas (Basically no gun laws, cheap land, big black population, low taxes)

i mean the laws on smog for example make sense since la had horrible smog for a long time, but fr the taxes where i live just keep going up as people migrate from the bay to here, driving up real estate n s***. hopefully everyone moving from cali to texas or wherever brings down the cost of living for those of us holding out

I live in Hawaii not California but it’s mostly the gun laws and the self defense laws. If someone threatens my life here and I shoot them or I stab them, I’m the one that’s going to prison. You also can’t own brass knuckles and certain types of knives here.

People are always trying to fight me or test me because I’m a pretty big guy and I want to have the peace of mind of knowing that if that happens the state will not prosecute me.

It probably won’t man I don’t think there’s enough people leaving for that to happen in this lifetime.
