Thought this would be a cool way to relive the good times. For me top 5 gotta be
1. "Kissing in the Rain" from the Great Expectations soundtrack/Robocop
2. Omega's "Gyöngyhajú lány"/New Slaves
3. Bon Iver "The Woods"/Lost In the World
4. Arthur Russell "Answers Me"/30 Hours
5. Jimmy Castor Bunch "I Just Wanna Stop"/We Don't Care
Keep in mind there were more popular songs (i.e. Gold Digger) that did some sample flipping, but for me, these are the most creative usages so far.
Love the Robocop flip . Lowkey I watch the great expectations to hear the song he sampled

Whatever sample he chopped for Spaceship
Distant Lover. Got me into Marvin Gaye as a kid, became one of my favorite artists
Holy s*** I forgot how perfect this show was. Thanks for posting fam
Hot take but ye doesn’t have any true wigflips
Majority of his sample usages are very basic stuff. Late is probably the closest because the change of meaning is cool, and other stuff in that 05-07 era where he was in his dilla influenced bag for common

Definitely not a bad take. But I feel like esp in 30 hours the way he can geniusly pick out a small sliver of a really artistic song + add drums and supporting synth ideas (with input from Mike dean ofc) is what makes him a unique producer
