It's not about hanging out. It's about when you hang out with them and all they wanna talk about is themselves. When you bring up something not even about yourself, just something different they're not interested in, they start switching the topic real quick.

And when you grow up you realize when your friends actually like you for you or just trying to “be nice “ . No one has time for that s*** when they 21+ and out of school cause who gives a s*** . The people you see consistently after that point clearly f*** with no matter your flaws and it should be the same vice versa

Wel with my circle of friends we don’t even talk about ourselves that much unless it’s relative. It usually sports music or something funny we saw and relationships/asking for advice & what the next move is. Hell even if a homie is “lame” I at least know what they going through and just let it slide and try to make them as happy as possible when they with me

I always thought one's part in a convo should be about providing entertainment or knowledge to the other person. The fear of being too boring in convos drains my energy.

If you around good friends you won’t be boring, hell just a presence can lighten someone’s mood. Just gotta trim the fat and you be good
