The thing I don’t like is the impersonality in the lyrics shes been on this whole era. At least change the lyrics up like ur ass aint going to no dive bar man. Make us believe this s*** at least lmao.

Tbf a lot of country is like this where they pretend they’re still doing s*** they did before being famous

I really thought the lead for the eventual rock themed 3rd act would be the one to get this kinda love, especially from Europe. She’s about to have her first solo top 10 song since Sweet Dreams in Germany, she last hit #1 (solo) in the UK with If I Were A Boy

She finally stopped sabotaging herself and this is the result.

I wonder if Everything Is Love being blocked by 5SOS, The Gift being blocked by Ed Sheeran and Spirit going #98-OUT made her rethink some stuff about her career.

Renaissance reintroduced her to the GP

People were writing her off after EIL and The Gift (still mad about that one) flops just for her to get #1 hits in her 40s, organically, but taking risks with her music. When was the last time an artist had longevity like that?

Madonna underperformed when she was about 35-37, but had her own renaissance when she was 40-50.

still was having a bunch of hits and selling millions of albums in that 'underperformance' era anyway. queen
