She's a touring artist now. Hasn't been a singles artist in 10 years.

At certain point in some artists' career, they transition from radio hits to album + touring.

Taylor Swift's career went through this transition recently. She's not a hit singles artist anymore. Since Reputation in 2017, her singles haven't been doing well. She's lowkey a legacy act now, more focused in dropping well received albums and going on tour.

Coldplay last hit (other than the song with BTS) was in 2016. And yet they are selling out stadiums rn. The biggest tour of the year.

no way a highly anticipated artist waiting 6 years to drop a double LP could go mid!

Taylor, Bey, Coldplay all legacy artists now and that’s just fine. It’s good cause they can just drop music independent of trends cause they know the money always gon be there on the road.

She's had great singles with her last albums and also some remixes like Perfect and collabs too. She just needs some fun singles.
