Bro this s*** doesn’t even make sense

Why would I get annoyed when I see others enjoying soul music?

Silk Sonic is a fine album it’s just that it’s two niggas remaking music we’ve already heard done better 50 years ago

To say that it’s better than Lemonade is laughable

"Why would I get annoyed when I see others enjoying soul music?"

    Idk you tell me

"Silk Sonic is a fine album it’s just that it’s two niggas remaking music we’ve already heard done better 50 years ago"

All the music on Lemonade was s*** we've already heard

Where have you heard “Sorry” before? Or Don’t Hurt Yourself?

    Sorry:

"Sorry" is an up-tempo electro-R&B track with a thumping and bleeping beat.6 Drowned in Sound writer Giuseppe Zevolli called it an emulation of early 2000s R&B.8 The 405's Samantha O'Connor described it as an "electro-infused" track.9 It is instrumentally complete with shattering drum beats, synthesizers and bells, the latter instruments prominent throughout the chorus.811 The Atlantic writer Spencer Kornhaber likened the electronic layers of "Sorry" to the 2015 eponymous song by Justin Bieber. He further found its chorus similar to Top 40 music, but with a "glassy-eyed distance to the song, a purposeful malaise".12 Mike Wass of the website Idolator felt that "Sorry" was intended as a female response to "IDFWU" (2014) by Big Sean and further found similar phrases.13

    Don't Hurt Yourself:

The song was produced by Jack White, Beyoncé, and Derek Dixie, and written by White, Beyoncé, and Diana Gordon. The song contains samples of "When the Levee Breaks" written by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham, and performed by Led Zeppelin. Some critics compared the song to Beyoncé's "Ring the Alarm" (2006).

So it's not only similar to a song from 50 years ago but also another song Beyonce has already made

Forum nerds need to quit acting like Silk Sonic is just some copypasta music and all the music they like is extremely innovative frfr

MJ & Prince were leagues above Bey. Like it's not even fair to compare them to her. She's a great performer, but def not the best ever.

Everything you listen to follows a blueprint, who cares, just sit back and enjoy the music, or don't.. but Beyonce is a terrible example to support your case here

  • ghost

Thread title is disrespectful to Prince, MJ and Ye

beyoncé is a better performer than ye for sure

There’s following a blueprint and then there’s blatantly remaking s*** from the 70s. Like stop it bro.

Bruno has never made better music than Beyoncé. He’s never pushed culture or music forward.
