Frank Ocean has never chased hits. Beyoncè spent the first 15 years of her career as an entertainer chasing hits. She chased hits from the 90's as part of Destiny's Child till 2013 with her self-titled album and when she saw that Pop radio and the general mainstream audience didn't want hits from her anymore, she dove right into becoming woke and claiming hits magically don't matter anymore. Yeah, right.

Hits have always mattered and they'll always matter and there are quality hits throughout music history. Because she says something doesn't mean it's true and we've also never seen any real proof that she owns her music so that doesn't mean s*** as far as I'm concerned. Even her husband that has bragged about owning his masters only owns the masters to a few of his albums, not everything.
