I agree. She could’ve given us a video, or a date for the video at least. I thought we were getting a full era with her being everywhere and stuff again. Not the drop and go like the last couple albums. I don’t have an issue if she wants to barely promote it, but don’t trick us by doing a whole lead single over a month in advance and get us excited for nothing.,

No one thinks she doesn’t know what she’s doing. She’s Beyoncé. The issue we have is we expected a big era with visuals and performances and all that fun stuff. I know it’s still early in the era but it would be fun

Sometimes I just don’t get her. The Gift for example. A beautifully curated album, you could tell it was a passion project for her. Why on earth would you call it The Gift and confuse people who look out for the music? A whole film 1 YEAR (!!!) after the album dropped, zero performances, only a few videos available on YouTube etc.
That rollout was a mess and as I said the album deserved better. The perfected the surprise-drop rollout, but at the same time she showed the limits of this marketing strategy.
Maybe Renaissance can be the turning point, at least at first it looked like it.
