Y’all get nostalgic so quick lol, KRIT fell off after his debut for like 5 years and finally came back with Might Long Time and now you gonna say this after one weaker album? That’s some fickle s***, he could always come back with another good one

Unrelated but Cadillactica is super underrated. The more commercial songs don’t fit the theme and stick out like a sore thumb but Soul Food, Third Eye, Mind Control, Lost Generation, Angels, Mo Better Cool are fantastic.

Fell off after his debut??? You don’t really believe that The K.R.I.T. Mixtape is one of his best projects, Cadillactica and the songs lead up to that album was dope

KRIT been fire. He stared off hot, dropped a mid debut album due to label politics, but he’s been killing s*** every album

Y’all trippin. KRIT doing a song for a video game is no indication that he fell off. KIH was weak but mostly because he took a step back from production and wanted to try a different approach. That nigga easily got another classic in him.

Btw, Cadillactica has aged really well imo. Pay Attention and the Mt Olympic reprise are the only real duds on that album

Yeah I’ll give you that, I shouldn’t say he fell off completely but I was just tryna say that there was a time when no one expected him to get back to Return of 4eva level and he ended up making another great album and returning to form so he could always do it again

Oh I feel you, yeah it’s tough when you get on a run like Krit did. Especially since he was putting out projects pretty frequently. So it’s like if the quality dips in any way it’s pretty noticeable. I will say his last album had some joints but it’s not one of my favorites.
