Man, I love KRIT - got some of my favorite music ever, got tons of good/important memories associated with his music so it's been dope seeing the love this album's been getting here recently

But this album doesn't hit for me the Return of 4eva, KRIT wuz here, 4eva N a Day or King Remembered in Time did

But I'm glad these threads keep reminding me to give it more chances because the albums always being lesser than the tapes did not let me approach this as openly as I should have

the mixtape run is so damn good- a lot better than his contemporaries no question- but I think what really sets off this for me is the amount of determination he has to add a classic album to his career. he makes music like his life depends on it

I got MBDTF, Yeezus, Pinata/Bandana, Atrocity Exhibition, Daytona, Matangi, Tetsuo and Youth, TPAB, and Barter 6 over it

album came out to late & most his albums are a step down from mostly amazing mixtapes

used to be in the cole, kendrick & drake convo in the early 2010s, but now barely anyone except those of the time remember him.

sad too, Return of 4Eva one of 2010s top albums period & one of my fav Rap projects oat.

sheesh rap really was something special last decade

Most of these albums would make my top 25 so I guess I can’t be too mad at this

Oh yeah, that hunger has always been there but man, Live from the Underground and Cadillactica are huge let downs for me which hurts even more because he has songs as good as his best on both

KRIT IZ Here had me feeling the same way but KTT got me to revisit this one a few weeks ago and it's definitely his best album and that I need to give it way more time

Praying Man is one of his best tracks

Its really sad how underrated krit is. People arguing about the top 3 but krit got better music than all of them except maybe kendrick but its still close

Album in op a little overrated

A lot of ppl have better catalogs than Drake and Cole.

Krit himself is a humble dude and a real one for fully acknowledging his influences. Problem for me is he's been doing that since the first tape and never really progressed. He's not a mainstream dude nor an underground dude, something in the middle who released a lot of good music too fast.

After this joint it was a perfect time for him to take another artistic step instead of a back step with that weak Krit iz Here.

also amazes me how good a producer he is in addition to his rap catalog
