Forcing yourself to create content (that you’re clearly not interested in making in the first place) to please others is called being an industry w****

"Industry w****" is a bit much for someone who hardly ever posts videos.

  • Even moreso since the nigga doesn't get s*** from doing these videos

I don't see what the big deal is. His review was not bad (unintended pun).

After all, it's not like the album is filled to the brim with 10/10 tracks for him to be exstatic (say, as in the true first listen of Call Out My Name) -- and at the same time, Dawn FM isn't filled with tracks that are 3/10, so he'll say it's crap.

Plus, remember it's the first listen*, and some tracks grow on you.

I for one didn't notice the gem of a track Best Friends was at my first listens**, Quint noticed right away.

*(He said he listened to the album three times)
/**(My first album listen Out of Time eclipsed the whole album, on day one I only remembered Quincy's good ass interlude to "Out of Time" and that on one of the first tracks Abel goes in the lower register, apparently Gasoline.

/***What I mean when I say with Big Quint's true first listen reaction of Call Out My Name
    (From another post)

His camera shakes through landscape/vertical modes but he doesn't stop recording, or pause the track to replay it for a better vid. The Weeknd made a comeback, so Big Q doesn't care if the video is not perfect, he continues recording cause in moments of joy you want to share it with your dear ones. Me, you, all of us who believe in Abel and wish him well. This vid grasped fully the feeling of The Weeknd's comeback. Gorgeous music playing on the background, and people smiling inside-out. So thankful for this track.

I personally still can't gauge the album. It's not a 10/10, it definitely's not a 5/10, I need a couple more listens to properly digest it

PS. He did start dancing to "Out of Time", ehich is the easiest listen, and sunniest feel-good, pop track.

And to conclude on his review: Calling something "not bad" is not a bad review. It might also mean that the album's content intrigues him to platly the songs more to get to know them.

PS. His rant about the robots was wtf and hilarious at the same time, never change Q 🤣

His reaction also seem very superficial. Jon Denton for example goes way more into detail on what he likes about a song and seems more knowledgeable about music in general

Stfu this is a normal review
Music transcends ratings, Big Quint enjoyed the album but hipster mfs want him to drop a 8.79 or 9.14234 on the album to take the review seriously

Big Quint dancing violently to music is more of a review than most others dream of on the platform

It's not about a rating. It's more about saying what you like about a song like certain elements in the beat or something in the lyrics. Not just saying "not bad".

Big Quint is the OG but I feel he regressed as others caught up

Quint is a legend but honestly the only reaction channel worth watching is Mercurial Number 6

Quint should just be honest. He says “not bad” to every song. Clearly he seems bored and doesn’t really enjoy the album
