how? he's gotten so much better since then
This is sean stans one true god tbh
all I need now is Mac Miller Faces on AM and im set
as much as I would love to have that and tbh they probably would put it up I can't rly listen to some of the dark lyrics on Faces now that Mac is gone. Mac's team really loves giving fans what they want though. I'm sure if it picked up enough steam they would get Faces on streaming, even if all the songs can't make it.

Tbh that was one of the first times when I realized how depressed Mac really was
if the OG tracklist isn’t preserved i do not care
tired of these half assed rereleases
drake is the only one who’s been able to do it successfully twice in one year
granted care package isn’t an original album but he still got a lot of big known records cleared
meanwhile chance can’t even get the biggest song on acid rap on streaming
There’s a fundamental difference between the power Drake holds vs. Chance in the industry
Chance isn’t unfortunately on the same level of artistry as Drake, literally a different caliber.

lol I swear. people hold artists to unrealistic standards and compare you to artist like Drake and Kanye, with a 10+ yr career and classic albums right out the gate
@coochieman
there's a reason ppl like them are put in GOAT conversations, and its bc only 1% of artists can do what they have done
That’s already on streaming, on the Hall of Fame deluxe
Nah I need the French and Big Sean version not the remix
Been tweeting him and key wane for years to do this... it’s about time
LOSTintheABYSS influence too strong
Crazy how often artist drop classic albums as mixtapes
Wayne, Mac, Sean, wiz, Bronson, Danny, etc
Rare Chandeliers and Blue Chips 1 and 2 would be dope to see on streaming. Same with some Curren$y tapes
damn I didn't even see the thread for this.. I remember him delaying his album for 11 months. his rollout was great. I think I was in 9th grade(?) at the time it dropped and Big Sean was coming off the crazy buzz from FF and had hits like my last, Marvin Gaye, and dance killing it everywhere.
He was just consistently dropping quality tracks/projects and really solidified himself as a face of the new generation. One of my favorite moments leading up to this is his collab with Chiddy Bang.
He had hype from the GOOD collabs (mercy, clique, etc.) and was really looking like Ye's most successful artist under the label.
the rollout started about a month before its release with this trailer
followed by this half music video teaser that had me juiced
I think this is easily his best project and honestly hall of fame should have been the mixtape instead.
Top 10 mixtape OAT.
I wish Cole would do this for The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights.
cost too much
cost too much
I’d just put em up and let the sample holders keep 100% of the profits. Let the kids have the music Cole.

He put out those tapes on his previous label. In order to put those tapes out, he'd have to pay producers, pay for sample clearances, AND give those albums back to the label. He wouldn't own them at all.
Just a hella expensive process in which he wouldn't even own the projects is a lot to ask
Like, artists want to put mixtapes onto DSP's, but
1) It's expensive
and
2) Getting your label to count a 10 year old mixtape towards your album count is damn near impossible
Put these together and you see why it's tough to put tapes out on DSP's
IMO
Damn no lie I was a Sean fan back when this first dropped
His first album was weak to me but this def had me tuning back in
His best work imo
I just need Higher s*** stayed in rotation. Had a young nigga thinking about goin big and taking over the world fr
