not a big sean fan but i heard the alchemist track and on up both solid so i checked the album out and its definitely decent got some joints i like, the beats overall was good only criticism i got is the album ran kinda too long.

yeah. this may not apply here but i do think artists get too caught up in the "i gotta make up for lost time"/feed the fans thing sometimes.

but for Sean, it's 10 minutes shorter than the last one lol all of his albums are > 50 min. pretty lengthy

It’s just his sound he keeps building on and not straying to far to either side. You could call it playing it safe but he really constructed a quality album here

His best since DSP I’m shocked I actually made it through this whole thing I think the blog era rappers are just getting lost in the shuffle a bit but this has his signature sound to a certain extent while mixing in a few new sounds

This is great. Went into it expecting to hate it. Beats are warm, lyrics are uplifting. Much rather hear an album of this than the same garbage copy and paste dark trap s***.
