Detroit a classic
Sean went from goat
"boii swerve swerve, I do it, make the ground move that's an assquake" raps
to
"Remember when we were playing Mario kart and you picked the princess"-type bars
Because he was just a fan who got lucky in a lot of haters eyes. It really is some subconscious “why him and not me?” s***.
Travis gets similar hate from the people who remember his origins.
Sean hate is a meme at the end of the day. He can rap and has some nice albums. Just isn’t a great or generational artist
calling someone basic is so wack. makes you look pretentious n 16 lmfaoo
I love when you guys add all these false narratives to straightforward statements
Let him have his opinion
He shows promise at times and then goes back to corniness with his music
He just doesn't have it in him
DSP was great though
Sean been writing for ye for a while too. so that pen that mfs hate is on ye songs they love
Need proof bud.
Don't even hate Big Sean. Just don't care about his music or what he gotta say. So I just skip his tracks/verses
Bad thing about big sean is that hes just "there".
Not even hating but like i always forget he came up with the " big 3 "
And he had a better a start 2...

This thread applies more to Cole than Sean to me. Don’t really see Big Sean get a lot of hate but Cole you see it regularly
I've always thought his mixtapes were better than his albums. Finally Famous vol 3 and Detroit for examples.
yeah people have ridiculous standards on bars like that because they judge them based on the perception of the rapper's lyrical talent
if Kendrick and Gunna said the same bar, they're getting completely different reactions and it's stupid. people just assume reputation manifests into execution and I hate it.
