I don’t consider either one of them to be black..as a black African there’s a very clear distinction between black and mixed people to me.
Ik people in this thread have said race is just a social construct and maybe that’s because we try to explain something that’s more complicated than putting a colour tag on people. But there’s a very clear difference and we can’t ignore that because then you ignore and invalidate other people’s experiences.

I guess the real issue is the fact that we’ve tried to simplify a complicated concept such as race by putting tags on it like “black or white” when it’s really not that easy.
