I don’t see anything wrong with Kendrick speaking to Sean directly and letting him know it was a misunderstanding and they are all good. On top of the fact he didn’t even put that diss out. I see people tryna make it seem like it’s the same as what Cole did and that’s just not true imo.

sean had backtracked and talked on the phone years ago which they both finally let it go when it all started over control and sean being mad people paid attention to kendrick more (and thought it was kendricks song) than him and started dissing in songs and interviews with constant retracts when confronted a few times

thats why heart part 4 happened to him, drake, lupe and jay e (and why the original "element" song was part of that) and they squashed it fully a lil bit before BP came out

he apologized about the leak from last year that is originally from 2017 after they been squashed it round the same 2017 period, which is also why the og diss got shelved
