Big Sean is a good rapper who makes good music but people seem to forget that the reason that Cole Kendrick and Drake were lumped together wasn’t simply bc they were skilled writers and rappers but that they made music that was new and interesting. Sean is great. But at the time people started talking about the Big 3, Sean wasn’t really pushing the envelope. Now you have people thinking the Big 3 is just the 3 most popular or most ticket-selling rappers and trying to say the third spot actually belongs to Future or Travis

It was a exciting convo at one point but it’s definitely overstayed it’s welcome

I feel like the Kendrick, Cole, Drake beef really started to dismantle it tho

He wasn’t even top 3 back in 2012-2015 his prime lol he never will be he was in the same category as meek mill wale 2 chains wiz Khalifa etc .
