That just means 3.4k copies a day. Not bad by any means. It's 2024 let's stop comparing Sean to the big 3 or the other A-listers. First and foremost it was a great album. Secondly he's not chasing hits. And third no one was comparing Nas numbers to GKMC or NWTS back in 2013. His place is solidified and he's doing what he wants now. That's all he can and should be doing rn. If he was aiming to do big numbers by chasing hits and missing like Rocky I could see the hate being warranted

Needs a smaller tracklist with stronger singles because halfway through you gain consciousness and go “why am I still listening to a Big Sean album” an hour+ in.

I think he’s still capable of doing that but it’s been a while.

Seans biggest weakness is sometimes that he really is too nice. He will have lyrics against Kendrick, Ye, Drake but he will deny it every time in interviews later on

He never really changed much or even got better as an artist. Looking at the feats and production credits you can tell the budget on this was tiny compared to his last few albums.

Also this is his first release on his own imprint away from GOOD Music so that's prob another factor.
