Not sure if there’s a thread on this already. Film with Pete Davidson in it just released on Hulu. It was a lot better than I expected and has actually got some strong reviews so worth a watch if you’ve got nothing else on
Worst ending of all time
Agreed it did seem pretty flat, but it was realistic I guess

naw that’s how these things usually end in real life. F*** a happy ending just for the sake of a happy ending.
woulda been lame as hell if Pete’s character actually became a movie star or whatever the f*** he was tryna do lol.
I liked it. But really want to see Pete play a character not like himself
Don't think he can, he's a comedian not an actor.
As evident by SNL.

I know what you mean but if he wants to become a serious actor and stuff, he needs to show more range and I feel like he is capable of it

Don't think he even needs to to be successful tbh, feel he'll take a Sandler approach (early Sandler at least), and just bank off of his persona and specific humor as much as possible.
But would be interesting to see him try.
Finally got around to peeping this and I’ve been sleeping. Think it came out around the time Honeyboy came out and I thought it’d be the bootleg version of it but I’m glad I watched it.
Loved the soundtrack in this as well, was crazy to hear Jeremih in a movie.
RIP DMX
