Chief Keef didn’t waste his potential, he just hid it, only to be given to those who could see it

Chief keef isnt talented like that

Pnd is thriving. Dude is getting his bag as a writer.

Mainstream Keef would have made worse music

  • Feb 15, 2020

Well PND 1&2 are both 10/10 classics but he hasn’t released a good project since, so ima have to go with him

Keef didn’t drop the ball, y’all just wanted him to stick to his Finally Rich sound but he wanted to experiment and test new sounds and hype beasts left him alone.

PND bc he wrote two #1 hits

Keef still had kids from Eastern Europe stanning him for years after Love Sosa while he was making some of the weirdest hip hop music of the decade

Also him not caring about placements , like not dropping the tape with Thug when Thug was on the come up , not giving Travis verses after Rodeo , not making music with Wayne when he was on the studio , etc

PND made generic Drakehall music. Keef revolutionized the soundscape of hip hop with a sound and formula that people are still d***riding 8 years later.

Keef only dropped out of the immediate spotlight because he wanted to do other s*** (like produce and do album artwork) while PND was always living in the shadow of Drake's Jamaican alter-ego.

    Not even a contest.

Tbh, Keef showed us from the jump he doesn’t care too much about being mainstream, he just wanted the money. He didn’t even show up to his Hate Bein Sober video shoot. Keef could’ve been mainstream asf if he wanted to.

Party got a Drake co sign, and features from him. That should’ve answered your question tbh.
