I say mistakes, not regrets, because we're supposed to learn from our mistakes, move on, and become better instead of regretting anything. If it weren't for our mistakes, we wouldn't know what we know now.
With that said, what are some of the worst mistakes you've made in your social life?
I'll start:
Being too judgmental and passive-aggressive towards a female friend. Regardless of what you're going through, don't let it hurt the way you interact with others.
Overthinking what I'm going to text/message. I think I've hurt some potential friendships as a result of this.
Treating women like objects back in my high school and college days, had multiple girlfriends and ended up cheating on them often, had a very bad habit. Ended up ruining my own reputation and no girl wanted to be with me afterwards....
Now I matured more and looked back on how I acted, I felt like a f***ing hyena during those times lmao
Drunk Honesty before sober honesty.
yeaaa i said it.
Being a drunkard is an easier target and less respectful.
I don't have a social mistake so far
Sounds cocky tho
accidentally tuning people out, i come across like an a****** to strangers cause i don't acknowledge them at all, too caught up in my head to be in the moment to do so.. smh
Letting my past trauma effect how I move in friendships and relationships
But more specifically I’m terrible at staying in contact and reaching out to people, I’m so used to being alone sometimes I feel it’s pointless to just have random text convos with someone. I’m trying to move out of that pessimistic mindset though
Was 5th wheeling last night with my friends at dinner. My roommate has been seeing the girl he’s with regularly and I was under the impression they were dating.
She started roasting him over some petty s*** and he was getting pissed, so I tried to defend him by saying “you know, sometimes when you like somebody you show it by teasing them”.
To which she immediately responded “oh I don’t like him”. And an awkward silence ensued for the next minute or so, with my roommate looking visibly hurt scrolling through his phone. I could not wait to get tf out of there

bring up your hate for capitalism and landlords at parties
chill man save some females for the rest of us
dont ever try to embarrass or flex on your friends in front of a girl trying to impress her
