I took it as being totally real. It just represents how shallow she/Hollywood is, since it was all because of something as trivial as a Rotten Tomatoes score
I don’t think that’s fair tho.
A 98 on rotten tomatoes is a big accomplishment, she’s allowed to feel happy about that.
I’d probably react the same way.
I hate to say it, cause I adore Eighth Grade, but I don’t find Elsie Fischer’s subplot very believable.
That’s a smug response lol. What went over my head? The idea that she’s shallow cause she cares about the validation of critics?
It’s ok haha, no worries. I see what you mean. I think Sally, in general, is a pretty self-absorbed character, I just personally wouldn’t fault her for this moment.
My take is Barry gets caught this season especially after using the detonate app that tracks his location, face, privacy data, access to his phone and him calling in with his real name
100% all that data mining is going straight to the FBI. Dumbass move using his real name and scanning his face
Just started watching this, I didn’t realize when I started that season 3 was ongoing
the scene where he killed his military friend and framed it as a suicide, then had the breakdown back stage :floyd:
Killing Moss :floyd:
When the other detective figures it all out and just uses it to blackmail Barry into killing his wife’s new boyfriend :jordanlaff:
I was cackling for like 5 minutes at that s***
Then the entire episode where he was fighting the karate boyfriend and the daughter was a f\*\*\*ing mutant lmao. Pure chaos. Great show
Agree, just the show being silly, I would be a little drawn back if they made Barry that stupid and make him face repercussions because of it.
ronny/lily gotta be one of the best tv episodes of all time
My favorite of the series by far

Since Barry throughout the show has fallen upward, and every f\*\*\* up has ended up benefitting him - I feel like when he’s ultimately caught, he’ll get an out. Like some shadowy government agency will take him in and use his for undercover work or something.

Something like that and he’ll prob end up ultimately miserable bc of it

I’ve seen people theorize that there are some higher-ups involved. They referenced Fuches getting texts from some anonymous person telling him who to send Barry to kill. I don’t remember that detail, but if it’s true it may loom large over the whole show
