people blaming streaming, if that was the case scorpion/views would be #1 if it was based off streams/sales
billboard got some secret metric we dont know about
my turn should def not be #1 tho
I truly hate these meaningless lists that come out almost daily. No one believes this s***. It’s annoying that every album that goes #1 is “record breaking” usually in multiple ways. That’s not even possible. I don’t go outside much but I’ve definitely never heard lil baby outside before. Ofcorse he’s a big artist but he’s true mysterious music if he’s getting ranked as the biggest rap album. He’s definitely buy sales with that weed money
the formula for the ranking is dumb as hell
and again, its biased towards the streaming era
How is it biased towards the streaming era if the second highest album is an Adele album from 2011
Billboard turning into a subjective ranking and rating system is criminal. Whole point is they're supposed to be the source of objective, clearly-defined metrics and numbers now they're just making s*** up
I knew DAMN. was bigger than every album in Drakes discography
Your avi makes me double take everytime I see one of your posts. Jorja
This list sums up the cognitive dissonance we all feel seeing certain artists on Billboard constantly when they never impact us IRL.
Hollywood's Bleeding being the 7th biggest album of the last 25 years, for example. No one on the planet would argue that, but Sunflower was tacked onto it for streams, so it skews the numbers.

This is like ESPN when lebron breaks the record for third quarter points on a tuesday lirl

because 21 is that big, streaming or not
but thats just one album, the list has 100
the use of the word "biggest" to describe this is misleading
looks like even billboard themselves didnt describe it like that. its just a list of the top billboard placement performers (so the actual sales doesnt matter )

It is based on numbers. But the formula is a little off.
Grodt, recovery, mmlp, tes, views, take care all have sold more units in the US?
i think with new rules and random albums song going platinum more recent albums are “bigger”
