I think Lost Cause is fun and catchy, it's just that the beat is way too simple. The other singles are way too slow and serious for me.
And I also think Therefore I Am was a grower and a good single.
The idea of what they were trying to do with Lost Cause is really solid and that’s why it grew on me, but the execution wasn’t really it at all.
Trying to do a 90’s Trip Hop/R&B thing was cool, but like you said it was to simple. Felt like a demo you make in a day, but they never finished it.
