You can tell Trav forfeited a lot of his creativity to make Birds. Compared to Rodeo, it's a very orthodox and formulaic album, but it needed to happen to capture that wider audience

I feel like the Mamacita - Zombies run was just ridiculous but Birds is more polished

If i am being honest i like this more than Astro. I haven't revisited any of the Astro songs except the Track with Don Toliver... I give a spin later but Birds had so many classic songs that i still play i can't deny how good it is. Through the late night has been played so many times and i still love. Goosebumps is a classic. PICK UP THE PHONE IS A TOP 100 HIP HOP SONG OF ALL TIME.
