We talking Indonesian music???
Put me on
wondered how to go about this lol. still haven't properly dived into their discographies can only say they're the most incredible live acts. that said all of them have released tight albums
GMO and Kasimyr solo both I only got to see for like 15min each, Kasimyr I left to catch last train (and then we met Moor Mother of all ppl outside the venue just standing around by herself lol, made 5min to talk w her b4 running).
Of the ppl I named least familiar with their stuff? but it's quality s***: youtu.be/sBfNZJFmvwg
My gf is writing her masters on these guys and without rly having listened to them brought me to a Raja Kirik gig where Kasimyr also DJ'd, went there not knowing what to expect and mind was just blown tbh. they subtitled this vid "new techno" and that's a pretty good term for it

Raja Kirik and Senyawa both built their own instruments out of trash and they're like complete magic tools, they hit them and scratch them in all sorts of ways and it creates the most unique and massive sounds and they rly mastered how to play them in a rly controlled way to get just the right sounds, grooves and effects. amazing musicians
Senyawa is one guy killing it on trash instruments and then vocalist Rully Shabara who is probably the most incredible vocalist I've ever seen in concert. just the way he uses his voice as an instrument and his range and control is out of this world.

there's also this rly beautiful documentary short about them: youtu.be/1mm0u2dQhQw
I might also just upload my own footage of Raja Kirik (saw them twice, also live soundtracking a really wild theater piece) and Senyawa
Ok that isn't Bjork but I like the cover design
I’m claiming Fungal City
