Not really surprising considering a lot of the slave trade was happening in what's modern day nigeria and areas above and below there. Guess the european parts of the dna was a lil since you don't really think about it, but most them slave owners was rapists so you know how that go and where that came from.

European last names are interesting because the those names are mainly of black nobility but due to the modern narrative, these names don't belong to us.

All I know is my last name originated in Scotland. My dad's family as far back as any of them know it from Trinidad and possibly Barbados. Most of my mom's known family history traces back to The Black Belt.
